The Future Worlds Center (leg. reg. as Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, which is active in the fields of human rights, peace promotion, global justice, and development. The Future Worlds Center implements projects under three units: the Global Education Unit, the New Media Labs Unit, and the Humanitarian Affairs Unit.
The Humanitarian Affairs Unit, through its work, responds directly to the needs of vulnerable populations by addressing issues of rights’ violations, marginalization and social injustice, with a focus on asylum seekers and persons under international protection. The Unit has been offering free support to these populations since 2006, along with specialized support services to victims of torture, violence, and trafficking.
